On Windows 10, installing version 21H2 (November 2021 Update) is recommended using the Windows Update settings, but you can also use the Media Creation Tool.

The Media Creation Tool is an application that allows you to download the files to create a USB flash drive media or ISO file to perform a clean install. Also, the same tool will enable you to complete an in-place upgrade without creating a separate bootable media.

Microsoft is expected to release the second semi-annual update sometime during the eleventh month of 2021. Although this is a minor update that doesn’t introduce big features or changes, Microsoft will gradually roll out the new version, taking months before it reaches every computer.

The company will start with devices known to have a smooth experience. Then, when the Windows 10 November 2021 Update is proven not to be significantly buggy, the deployment will expand to more computers.
