- The final version of Windows 11 is now ready for download in the Release Preview Channel.
- The upgrade is available as an optional update through Windows Update.

Microsoft is now making available the final version of Windows 11 (build 22000.194) in the Release Preview Channel of the Windows Insider Program. This represents the first preview of what’s expected for the company to start shipping on October 5, minus a few remain patches that may still be needed to address any remaining issue.
The Windows 11 build 22000.194 is available as an optional install for devices that meet the minimum requirements, and that means computers with at least Intel’s 8th Gen or AMD Ryzen 2000 or newer, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot enabled.
If you want to upgrade early, you first need to enroll your computer in the Release Preview Channel using the “Windows Insider Program” settings from the “Update & Security” section.
Once the computer is enrolled, you can download Windows 11 from the “Windows Update” settings by clicking the Check for Updates button and clicking the Download and install button under the “Update to Windows 11 is ready – and it’s free” block.
Since this is still a pre-release, it’s worth noting that you may still come across unknown issues and other problems.
Alternatively, you can now also download the Windows 11 build 22000.194 ISO file directly to create a USB bootable to perform an in-place upgrade or clean installation.
Also, you should use this guide that includes everything you need to know to avoid problems during the upgrade process.
