This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft revealed that plans to start the slow rollout of Windows 11 on October 5, but it’ll take months until the new version becomes available to all compatible devices. The update KB5005101 was released as an optional install for Windows 10 21H2, 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 to address problems with the Windows Update settings page.
Windows Terminal version 1.11 becomes available as a preview with a slew of improvements, including the ability to enable the acrylic material for the title bar.
Windows 11 build 22449 was released in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program as the first preview of the active development branch with new features and improvements that are now not tied to any specific release of the OS.
