This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft has finally launched the Windows 10 May 2021 Update (version 21H1) as an optional update for devices running version 20H2 and 2004. Alongside the rollout, Microsoft published the list of known issues blocking the May 2021 Update, which this time around is not a long list, but it would help you determine whether you should install version 21H1 or wait a little longer. Furthermore, the company also revealed the features that have been removed or deprecated with this release.

In other Windows 10 news, build 21387 was made available in the Dev Channel, which finally removes Internet Explorer and introduces a slew of fixes.

The update KB5003212 was made available as a preview and as an optional update for devices still running Windows 10 versions 1909 and 1809 with several non-security features that users will be getting during the next Patch Tuesday rollout.

Microsoft announced that it will end support for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 10 on June 15, 2022. However, the company will no disable the browser from older versions, including Windows 10 LSTC, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7.
